- The Artist
If She Spoke is a living exhibition that honours women’s stories of struggle, resilience, and survival — shared with care, consent, and integrity.
In its first iteration, If She Spoke showcased 100 stories from women who transformed pain into strength, alongside 30 large-scale portrait paintings measuring up to 1.8 × 2.4 metres.
Stories are shared in the women’s own words — unedited, unfiltered, and deeply human. This is not about polish or performance, but truth.
As If She Spoke returns in 2026 to Brisbane and Melbourne, the project continues to grow — inviting audiences, supporters, and partners to help carry these stories forward.
IF SHE SPOKE — Do you want your story to be heard?
Your story matters.
If She Spoke is collecting women’s stories of struggle, resilience, and becoming to be honoured within the exhibition. Some contributors may also be selected to have their story interpreted through portraiture or artwork, displayed alongside their words.
You may remain anonymous, and you always stay in control of how your story is shared.
What is If She Spoke?
Raising Funds for the Women’s Crisis Support Centre
I’m proud to share that a portion of the proceeds made at If She Spoke: Stories of Struggle to Strength will be donated to the Women’s Crisis Support Centre. This incredible organisation provides shelter, safety, and essential support to women and children escaping domestic violence situations.
Through this exhibition, we not only share stories of strength — we help create new ones.
Behind every brushstroke is a voice once silenced. If She Spoke shares raw, honest, and deeply human stories—transforming pain into beauty, and struggle into strength. This is not just art on the walls; it’s an invitation to connect, reflect, and discover your own voice in the process.
